Sajjad, an obviously depressed looking young boy of 14 had a sprinkle of white spots on the front of his chest, which was visible through the open collar as can be clearly seen in his pretreatment vitiligo picture . The emotional impact was far more than the actual disfiguration.

The boy came from a distant village, and had not used any proper treatment except home made tit bits.

He was given Anti-Vitiligo for local application, and he totally abstained from meat of all kinds, hot spices, fish, tomato, mangos and dry fruit.

His lesions were so small with large area of normal skin intervening, that he virtually had to apply Anti-Vitiligo to most of his upper chest. His pigment came back in six months but the intervening skin was tanned and look darker than the rest of the body. He was advised to stop the application two months after complete re-pigmentation.
